Foveola shortlisted at Machinista Festival 09/04/2004
Foveola is featured at the 2004
Machinista Online exhibition,
and we're pleased to announce that Foveola has been selected
from over 260 entries for the final Supervisors' Shortlist of
outstanding entries.
The Foveola demonstration, within the 'full screen robovision' category,
is to illustrate how future robots will
understand visual analogy in the way that people do (i.e. that an 'L' can look
like a Wellington boot and that a simple 'm' reminds us of a seagull in flight.)
We will be presenting Foveola live at the
Machinista Offline festival in Glasgow, May 6th to 9th, 2004.
